About Truence

Truence connects a business's sales channels and bank, read-only, and follows every order to the deposit that cleared. Owners use that verified record to run the business and can share it, read-only and with their permission, with lender partners. We are based in Plano, Texas.

The role

You will be Truence's first account manager and the first person many founders talk to. You will bring Shopify, Amazon and service businesses onto Truence, walk them through connecting their stores and bank, and make sure they see the value in their first weeks. You own a real book of accounts from day one and work directly with the founder, so what you hear from customers shapes the product and how we sell it. This role suits a recent graduate who wants real ownership early. We will teach you the product, the e-commerce world and how our lender partners work with Truence. You bring the drive, the curiosity and the follow-through.

What you will do

  • Reach out to and qualify the businesses that come to us through marketing, events and partners.
  • Run live walkthroughs that show founders what Truence does for their business.
  • Guide new accounts through setup, connecting their stores, marketplaces, ad platforms and bank, read-only.
  • Be the first point of contact for your accounts, answering questions and solving problems quickly, with engineering behind you when needed.
  • Help founders who are looking for capital understand how TrueCapital connects them with lender partners.
  • Keep every account, conversation and next step current in the CRM.
  • Turn what customers tell you into clear feedback for the product team.
  • Grow your book: move accounts to the plan that fits them and ask happy customers for referrals.

What you bring

  • A recent graduate, or graduating this academic year, with a degree in business, sales, marketing, finance or a related field.
  • Training or experience in B2B selling: discovery, prospecting and follow-up. A professional selling program, an internship or a part-time sales job all count.
  • Clear, confident communication on the phone, on video and in writing.
  • Comfortable learning software quickly and explaining it simply.
  • Organized and reliable: you keep your CRM current and do what you say you will.
  • Based in the Dallas Fort Worth area, or ready to move here.

Nice to have

  • A university professional selling program or sales competition experience.
  • Interest in e-commerce, Shopify or Amazon selling, or a store of your own.
  • Exposure to fintech, banking or small-business lending.
  • Experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

Compensation

$45,000 to $55,000 base + 20% commission on early subscriptions. The final offer depends on experience and location.

How we hire

We encourage you to apply even if you do not match every line above.
