Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to and use of the Truence website and service. By creating a workspace or connecting a data source, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.

The service

Truence provides analytics and reporting that verify business performance against settlement data from connected sources. Truence is an informational and analytical product. It is read-only: it cannot initiate payments, move funds, or modify records inside your connected systems.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your workspace. Notify Support@truence.com promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Connected data sources

You represent that you are authorized to connect each data source you add and to allow Truence to access the data it returns. You may disconnect a source at any time. Truence is not responsible for outages, changes, or inaccuracies originating from third-party systems.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Truence lawfully and in good faith.

  • Do not attempt to access data belonging to another business.
  • Do not probe, scan, or interfere with the security or availability of the service.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, or scrape the service without written permission.
  • Do not use the service to violate the terms of any connected provider.

Not financial, tax, or legal advice

Truence produces analysis, forecasts, and accounting views based on data from connected systems. Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees. Nothing in the product or on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and you remain responsible for your own filings, decisions, and compliance.

Intellectual property

Truence and its licensors own the service, its software, designs, and content. You keep ownership of your business data. You grant Truence the limited rights needed to process that data in order to provide the service to you.

Fees

Where a paid plan applies, fees, billing frequency, and scope are set out in the ordering document or plan you accept. Unless stated otherwise there, fees are non-refundable for the period already served.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Truence available and accurate, but the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may update, improve, or discontinue features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truence is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid to Truence in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Truence and disconnect your data sources at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if required for security or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Truence, Inc., 5700 Tennyson Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Questions: Support@truence.com.
